MyMommyBiz
began unofficially in 2000. The site began to be developed in 2001, and
the fully interactive MyMommyBiz site with a new design and fresh content
was launched December 2001.
Since the
official launch, the Advice & Resources section has grown to over
70helpful articles covering all aspects of moms working at home.
Our eBook
selection has expanded to include 20 different how-to eBooks with more
coming soon.
On April
1, 2002, MyMommyBiz launched its most ambitious section - the much anticipated
Idea Central, filled with over 100 business ideas, and the popular Home
Party Plan Business Listing. This listing received so much exposure on
launch day, that we launched a Canadian version later that day for Canadians
who wanted to advertise or explore opps available in Canada (most businesses
to not allow cross-border shipping or recruiting).
We also have
extremely active message boards, a weekly newsletter read by 15000 each
week, a work at home mom Directory, job listings, online parties, and
so much more.
MyMommyBiz
strives to provide moms (and future moms!) with the ideas, resources and
advice they need to make the jump to working from home.
MyMommyBiz currently has more than 3000 individual
pages, with many more added each week.
